We had a wine glass full of water stains, we thought it was dirt because it was in the shape of lipstick. The blonde waitress had already poured. She looked at the glass very snippily and then came back with an empty glass. When asked where the wine was, she said she would not refund it, my sister would still have to pay it. Then came the cheeky question of whether we want to stay or go. Nothing like this has happened to us in 5 years. 2 years later: Great respect for the owner who apologized. We're going there again because it's a quaint "pub" that is rarely found. Food very good. Corona precautions very good. Price performance absolutely top. He now has a new condition that is very nice.

Nice beer garden, smoking bar with non-smoking area. A table with a tap for exuberant evenings can be reserved.

Quaint restaurant, with drinks, delicious food, nice service and a nice owner.

Ambience is okay, everything is relatively tight and a bit expensive but really nice for celebrations after the exams.

Best pub in Esslingen. Nice and cozy, pleasant crowd. Eating delicious and cheap. XL Schnitzel OUTSTANDING!

The day menu is quite good and the food usually tastes good. Sometimes it's a bit greasy. In summer you can sit wonderfully in the beer garden under a large chestnut tree. The decor is rather rustic.

Super cozy and iconic pub, delicious food at reasonable prices, nice and friendly service. With all this, you can also select the music to be played on the machine. Nice also the division into smokers and non-smokers, so everyone sensibly comes to their enjoyment

Their (XX)L Schnitzel are the best I've ever eaten! Better than Onkel Otto, imho

Carmelite is a smoker locally, it also has a nice terrace. The atmosphere of the local is very interesting but the ventilation is all the worse, when the load is full, fog is created in the air by d. Smoke. The service is unfortunately not nice. Nevertheless, one can feel comfortable as a smoker.

Great food, welcoming place to eat.

Nice place with good envioroment. There are both smoke and nom smoke rooms and a juke box that lets you choose the music selecction. There are several kinds of beers, board games and magazines available.

Really nice old fashioned Pub , we had the table with its own beer Pump! The more you drink the price per litre goes down! Also a Smoking Room/Bar
